Thread posted for documentation & solution.Įdit: Got the exact same issue later again where the exact same fix with the exact same hardware & software didn't work and also basically nothing I tried except for a device restart that fixed it. As before the sound also works with a 48000 Hz setting again. Dowloaded that, extracted it, ran the DXSETUP.exe installer. The solution was to install DirectX9c even though start -> run -> dxdiag states that DirectX11 is already installed.
